NPD Stanmore Road
NPD Stanmore Road was the second fuel station where Conpavers was involved with the construction of a self-serve service station that was new to Christchurch city. The first of these (work done by Conpavers) on Haswell Road and was well known to those who live South of Christchurch. Getting more familiar with Cantabrians, NPD has made a push to become one of the South Islands biggest suppliers of fuel. Their service stations are becoming larger with refresh cafes that are definitely refreshing.
The scope for this project was to demolish all existing fencing, existing building footings and foundations, excavate out areas for the inground fuel tanks, trenching for drainage, wiring and concrete structures, backfilling for tanks, hardfill for slab preparation and compaction under canopy and sign footings. All mesh and steel reinforcing, formwork and pouring of concrete was completed for signage and fuel suppliers to install the canopy. All asphalt on the footpath, kerb work and exterior landscaping to finish off the project using topsoil, mulch and selected plants to bring the project to completion.
